Our Class Treaty

After reading the story 'The Tree hut treaty' we looked at why it is important to have a treaty and what this might look like for our class.
There were some wonderful ideas shared by everyone. We narrowed our statements down to the 7 that we thought were the best for us.

- Celebrate success
- Be a bucket filler
- Agree to disagree sometimes
- Share and Care
- Show a positive attitude
- Treat each other like whanau
- Make good choices

When the treaty of Waitangi was signed, as well as the Tree hut Treaty, everyone signed their names. In our class, everyone has shown their agreement to the treaty, by designing a feather to attach to our korowai cloak.

Doesn't it look amazing!!
